Canadian alt-pop breakout MICO announces his debut Australian headline tour this November, bringing one of music’s fastest-rising new artists to local stages in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne for the first time. At just 23 years old, the Filipino-Canadian singer – aka Miguel Veloso – has rapidly emerged as one of alt-pop’s most compelling new voices, amassing more than 300 million global streams and cultivating a fiercely loyal online fanbase of over 1.8 million followers worldwide thanks to winsome tracks such as new single ‘Like you mean it’ and April’s hyperpop-steeped banger, ‘DREAMBOY’. Inspired by the immediacy of late-2000s pop-punk with modern, genre-jumping production, MICO has built a global audience through deeply personal songwriting, explosive live performances and an authenticity that has resonated with a generation of fans online and off. It’s been a whirlwind 18 months for MICO, earned a 2026 JUNO Award nomination for ‘Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year’ after signing with Columbia Records. Selling out headline tours across North America and Europe, the tour announcement arrives amid a new creative chapter, MICO also recently named Spotify’s RADAR Canada Artist of the Month. Now entering his major-label era, MICO is preparing to unveil his debut album When the lights turn on (released June 26), a hook-heavy collection that captures the emotional turbulence of growing up, moving away, relationships, identity and finding connection in an increasingly online world. Born and raised in Toronto and the fourth of five siblings, MICO’s father filled the house with ’80s pop hits by Michael Jackson and The Police, and when guests came over, the family encouraged the 6-year-old to hop on the karaoke – he didn’t object. From humble beginnings learning guitar chords playing along to 5 Seconds of Summer, Fall Out Boy, and The All-American Rejects, as a teena

Brazilian Music Award-winning trio Gilsons are a family band of the highest pedigree. Francisco, João, and José Gil are respectively the sons and grandsons of the legendary Gilberto Gil. The band blends pop rock, samba, rap and Bahian rhythms, but draws particular inspiration from MPB, Gilberto's chief métier. Following a strong run of singles, including the hits "Várias Queixas," and "Devagarinho", the band released their debut album, Pra Gente Acordar , which was subsequently nominated for the Latin GRAMMY for Best Contemporary Pop Album in Portuguese. The trio has participated in major festivals throughout Brazil, including Lollapalooza and Rock in Rio, but this performance represents their Australian debut.

Neo-industrial LA-based futurists HEALTH will keep their hot-streak of Australian touring up in 2026 off the back of their latest and unapologetically heavy CONFLICT DLC release. Essentially part two of 2023’s breakout RAT WARS album, it shows the band continuing to explore their deep existential dread through a borderless lens. Possessing more immediacy than ever, the new record has furthered the trio’s sudden propulsion to new heights of cultural relevance and contemporary notoriety that should otherwise be preposterous for a band entering its third decade of existence. Off the back of his sixth album Age of Aquarius , acclaimed synthwave pioneer Perturbator will bring his huge cyberpunk sound all the way from France to fill the direct support slot with pounding drums, razor sharp retro futuristic sounds and an overwhelming display of lights. American industrial hardcore wizard King Yosef continues to stun critics with the unclassifiable nature of his sound, and with the searing metal rage of 2025’s Spire of Fear , will set the stage for a mind blowing package that promises to simultaneously purge us of and celebrate the emotional decay of our digital era.
