PSYCH ROCK LEGENDS ELDER HAVE ANNOUNCED THEY WILL TOUR AUSTRALIA IN MAY 2027. It’s been 12 years since their debut in Australia alongside EARTHLESS, and with their brand new album ‘Through Zero’ recently released through Bird’s Robe in Australia, the band will finally return to headline shows in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane. Melbourne’s KHAN join as support for all shows, bringing their hazy stoner riffs to complement Elder’s progressive leanings. Two decades into their existence, Elder remain an anomaly in the underground rock scene - a rare band with the ability to absorb and shed influences from a myriad of genres without falling into pastiche or losing their own identity. Their new record Through Zero is a strong reaffirmation of a commitment to pushing boundaries in the world of heavy rock and cements the group’s status as leaders of the pack in heavy psychedelic rock. Elder has long since mastered crushing riffs, melodic jaunts, progressive patterns, hypnotic grooves and ethereal atmosphere along their path of music-making in the past twenty years. On Through Zero, Elder takes these years of experience and forms possibly their most immediate and engaging record to date, while allowing seeds from outside the sphere of rock music to take root and bloom within their progressive framework. Listeners will find familiar elements of new textures, sequences, and sounds alongside Elder’s iconic take on heavy rock. As always, every spin reveals new details. Recorded in Berlin across several months between tours in 2025, Through Zero is the first album which the band not only produced but also co-mixed together with longtime collaborator Richard Behrens. The album sounds more like a full extension of the band’s creative intentions than ever before. Elder was founded sometime around 2006 or so - nobody remembers exactly - in a small coastal town in Massachusetts by three longtime friends with a passion

The band was formed in 1994 by Nicke Andersson (vocals and guitar), Andreas "Dregen" Svensson (guitar), Kenny Kakansson (bass) and Robert Eriksson (drums). Andersson had been the drummer for death metal band ENTOMBED and Dregen was taking a break from his full-time band BACKYARD BABIES. “Hill is poised to be one of this generation's greats” – Ones To Watch US alt-rock breakout star Sawyer Hill brings his Everybody’s Home, Nobody’s Happy Tour to Australia for debut shows in February 2027. Fast becoming known for his genre-bending musicianship, lyrical storytelling and unmatched live presence, Sawyer Hill is the indie-rock newcomer that is on everybody’s radar. Playing bars as a teenager, sneaking through the back door so he wouldn’t be carded by bouncers, Sawyer graduated to national stages with the release of viral 2023 single ‘Look at the Time’ . Catching the attention of fans across the globe, the multi-talent has since racked up over 130 million streams and more than 250 million video views, leading to the release of 2025 album Heartbreak Hysteria which cemented itself as an impressive debut for the young singer-songwriter. Soon leaving Arkansas, bringing his music across the United States and Europe , Hill curated a standout live set. Generating a huge online following along the way, he performed sold out stops at LA's Troubadour and NYC's Bowery Ballroom , as well as an extensive tour supporting UK rocker Yungblud , with a summer of festival sets across the North America to come, including Outside Lands Festival, Bourbon and Beyond and Festival Corona Capital. Upcoming album Everybody’s Home, Nobody’s Happy , draws on these experiences on the road. A project centred around his feeling of longing for home - an unexpected feeling - Hill hones in on the sonic and lyrical identity of the album, working with notable collaborators Mike Crossey [The 1975, Arctic Monkeys], Chris Greatti [Poppy, Yungblud], and Ryan Linville [Olivia Rodrigo, Dermot Kennedy]. What has resulted is an album of confidence, with a sound and style that feels like a Sawyer Hill record – being a voice for the loners and the doubters, the Southern kid who doesn’t understand why he’s meant to shut

For the first time in an ever evolving 21 year history, the explosive and genre defying French act IGORRR at last cast their unclassifiable magic across Australia. Created and spearheaded by French multi-instrumentalist Gautier Serre, the IGORRR name has expanded from one man's pseudonym to become a full group identity, which has brought a new level of intensity into the live representations. Initially influenced by the likes of Meshuggah, Chopin, Cannibal Corpse, Bach, Domenico Scarlatti, Taraf De Haidouks And Aphex Twin, traces of these artists can be found littered across IGORRR's discography, but Serre has never been interested in remaining static or merely recycling ideas, and his work has dramatically evolved accordingly. With a truly unique sound blending a multitude of complex layers, Serre excudestotal musical freedom by combining all of his disparate tastes into one chaotic, cohesive universe.

Culture Wars is an Austin-bred alternative powerhouse bridging the gap between '90s guitar grit and the cinematic polish of modern pop. Driven by "song-first" authenticity, the band rejects the hyper-digitized landscape of modern rock in favor of real instruments and collective chemistry. Their highly anticipated debut album, Don’t Speak (arriving April 10th), delivers a high-octane, genre-blending sound that fuses surf-rock pulses and ’80s synth textures into arena-ready anthems. With nine tracks from the album already amassing millions of streams, their one million monthly listeners are primed for the full project’s release. Since their 2021 EP teche, Culture Wars has maintained an explosive upward trajectory as a formidable self-managed unit. Their relentless passion earned them coveted opening slots for global giants like Maroon 5 and LANY, momentum they have since converted into a powerhouse headline presence. Having already sold out iconic venues in New York City, Los Angeles, and London, the band enters this album cycle as a proven global draw, ready to lead the next generation of guitar-driven alternative music.

Canadian alt-pop breakout MICO announces his debut Australian headline tour this November, bringing one of music’s fastest-rising new artists to local stages in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne for the first time. At just 23 years old, the Filipino-Canadian singer – aka Miguel Veloso – has rapidly emerged as one of alt-pop’s most compelling new voices, amassing more than 300 million global streams and cultivating a fiercely loyal online fanbase of over 1.8 million followers worldwide thanks to winsome tracks such as new single ‘Like you mean it’ and April’s hyperpop-steeped banger, ‘DREAMBOY’. Inspired by the immediacy of late-2000s pop-punk with modern, genre-jumping production, MICO has built a global audience through deeply personal songwriting, explosive live performances and an authenticity that has resonated with a generation of fans online and off. It’s been a whirlwind 18 months for MICO, earned a 2026 JUNO Award nomination for ‘Breakthrough Artist or Group of the Year’ after signing with Columbia Records. Selling out headline tours across North America and Europe, the tour announcement arrives amid a new creative chapter, MICO also recently named Spotify’s RADAR Canada Artist of the Month. Now entering his major-label era, MICO is preparing to unveil his debut album When the lights turn on (released June 26), a hook-heavy collection that captures the emotional turbulence of growing up, moving away, relationships, identity and finding connection in an increasingly online world. Born and raised in Toronto and the fourth of five siblings, MICO’s father filled the house with ’80s pop hits by Michael Jackson and The Police, and when guests came over, the family encouraged the 6-year-old to hop on the karaoke – he didn’t object. From humble beginnings learning guitar chords playing along to 5 Seconds of Summer, Fall Out Boy, and The All-American Rejects, as a teena

Few bands can claim to have redefined a genre. Fewer still can claim to have done it live, night after night, for over two decades. Shapeshifter is one of them: a Christchurch-bred, stage-forged five-piece who have built one of the most enduring careers in New Zealand music and earned their stripes on stages from Auckland to Glastonbury. Their sound is something they call ‘Soul Freakout’: a stadium-sized collision of drum & bass, jazz, funk, rock and electronica, anchored to deep bass culture roots. No click tracks, no sequencers, just five musicians who know how to move a crowd. Seven albums in, three of them platinum, Shapeshifter's music has become the soundtrack to a generation of New Zealand dancefloors. Their 25th anniversary year saw them make history as the first artist ever to place six LPs simultaneously in the Official Aotearoa Top 20 Albums charts, a milestone that speaks to a fanbase who don't just turn up but keep coming back. In 2026, the band will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Soulstice, their landmark third album and one of the most beloved records in New Zealand electronic music, with a tour across Australia. A celebration of where they came from, and proof of just how far they've gone.

Join The Whitlams this October as they embark on an old-fashioned East Coast pub run. “Return to Rock Island” takes the band back to its favourite rock rooms, where if only the walls could talk about the joyful two, three and four night residencies over the decades. Long sweaty nights at these pubs formed the bedrock of The Whitlams’ reputation as a memorable force in the Australian live scene. What better way to mix things up after the elegance of the celebrated Orchestral ’26 tour, with its eight symphony orchestras, 30,000 people, and concert halls across the country. Now it’s back to the pubs where the audience is standing up close. Joining the bill for the whole tour is William Crighton with band, promoting his 4th studio album, ‘Colonial Drift’. The pioneer of Bush-Psych and a bold voice of Australian folk rock, Crighton weaves stories of land, spirit, and struggle with raw intensity. The tour opens at two pubs where the band held Sunday afternoon residencies back in 1994 - Hotel Brunswick just north of Byron Bay, and the Hoey Moey in Coffs Harbour. From there, multiple nights at The Triffid in Brisbane and The Corner Hotel in Melbourne, before a long- awaited return to Sydney’s Metro Theatre, the venue where the band filmed its live DVD performance in 2004. The set list will tend towards the high energy side of the seven album repertoire - loud, and built for a crowd with nowhere to sit. Tim Freedman is joined by stalwarts Terepai Richmond on drums and Jak Housden on guitar, with Ian Peres returning on bass and keys. "The songs splash colours across a portrait of a lonesome, inner-city suburbia that few others can match for original detail and authenticity.... The Whitlams have never sounded even mildly like anybody else." - The Newcastle Herald, 2022

Australian deathcore firestarters To The Grave have barely allowed themselves a moment’s rest since expanding their frontlines into the international circuit in 2023. Relentless global touring has seen them take their apocalyptic message of animal liberation, misanthropic furore and musings on environmental catastrophe to stages shared across the globe with the likes of Lorna Shore, Signs of The Swarm, I Killed The Prom Queen, Carnifex, Thy Art Is Murder and Shadow of Intent. All executed off the back of the methodically violent dropping of 2021’s ‘ Epilogue’, 2023’s ‘ Director’s Cuts’ and 2024’s ‘ Everyone’s A Murderer’ albums through extreme metal institution Unique Leader Records. 2026 has so far allowed To The Grave to take a moment not so much to catch their collective breath, but to instead channel their justified rage into yet another forthcoming release. The next campaign from To The Grave kicks off with ‘Nail Australia To The Walls’ this September - 8 savage shows all around their home turf. The onslaught will feature the down under debut of the American death metal/hardcore group No Cure , touring in support of their upcoming third album of heartfelt straight-edge anger ‘ It’s Going To Get Dark ’. Rounding out the package is Melbourne’s brutal beatdown champions Algor Mortis , and Canberra's vegan deathgrinders Bloodmouth . Keep your senses on high alert for urgent new music from To The Grave in the imminent future.

"As an opening statement, Swervedriver couldn’t have been more sonically eloquent than Raise. This record was a blinding assault of guitars and their afterburn. Destroy All Lines Presents SKINDRED AUSTRALIAN HEADLINE TOUR 2026 Australia, prepare to set your fazers to stun this September, with Welsh ragga metal legends SKINDRED primed to return to our shores for their biggest ever Australian headline tour! Opening proceedings on Tuesday 1 September in Perth, SKINDRED will head through Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney, and close out on Sunday 6 September in Brisbane. Wielding a formidable (and deserved) reputation as one of the best live bands on the planet, SKINDRED have been stupefying audiences with their heart-thumping blend of reggae, punk, hip hop, nu metal, rock and electronica since forming in the late 90s. Hailing from Newport in Wales, SKINDRED 's innovation and hybrid agility saw the group explode out of the underground and into enduring infamy, now with eight studio albums to date, multiple award wins, countless performances and millions of fans spanning the globe, all under the ardent gaze of frontman Benji Webbe. Releasing their debut album Babylon in 2002, SKINDRED have consistently unleashed new music throughout their career, and 2026 is no exception with the hotly-anticipated release of their ninth studio album You Got This due out on April 17. Featuring the newly slimmed-down trio of Webbe, Mikey Demus and Arya Goggin working alongside GRAMMY-winning producer Jay Ruston (Diana Ross, Meat Loaf, Mr Bungle), You Got This picks up where the band's acclaimed 2023 album Smile left off, with vibrant dancehall hues fused with hooks, earworms and hard-hitting slammers all lying in wait on album #9; and it's a collection of songs that are also set to inevitably stun in a live setting. On a live front, SKINDRED are certainly not your average band, with their exuberant brand of chaos never skimping on unity as well as pedal-to-the-metal technicality. Whether performing alongside the likes of KISS, Korn, Papa Roach and Rob Zombie, or leaving festival crowds in a sweaty euphoria on some of the biggest global stages, it's no

This June and July sees Illy celebrating the 10th anniversary of “Two Degrees”, one of Australia's most successful hiphop releases ever. Featuring iconic songs “Papercuts”, “Catch 22”, “Oh My”, and “Hazard To Myself”, among other fan favourites, “Two Degrees" marked the rapper/singer/songwriter's first of three ARIA #1 albums. With a nod to this shared musical history with the people, I lly will be performing much loved, often requested songs from earlier albums including “Cinematic" and "The Chase”, inviting supporters to help curate the shows track lists ahead of tour commencing.
