Seit über 30 Jahren gehört die Big Band Kanti Wattwil zu den führenden Jugend Big Bands der Schweiz und begeistert mit aussergewöhnlichen Konzertprojekten. Mit «Big Band rocks» richtet sie gemeinsam mit dem Schweizer Jazz- und Rockgitarristen Andreas Grob den Blick auf verschiedene Dekaden und Spielarten der Rockmusik. Ikonische Songs und Kompositionen von den Beatles über Steely Dan und Soundgarden bis zu Radiohead und Pat Metheny erklingen in herausragenden Arrangements für Big Band. Kraftvolle Bläsersätze, virtuose Gitarrenparts und packende Grooves verbinden Rock, Jazz und Fusion zu einem abwechslungsreichen Programm voller Energie, klanglicher Raffinesse und Spielfreude.
