Summers Like a Dream – farewell concert by the KLONK Choir, conducted by Marjukka Riihimäki. Riihimäki has led the nationwide Klemetti Institute Women's Choir (KLONK) since 1988 and will conduct one final concert at Meilahti Church.
In the program, music by Hanni Autere, Toni Edelmann, Anna-Mari Kähärä and Eriks Esenvalds.

Meilahden Tilajakamo a.k.a. Stogis and Konstrundan has been arranged yearly in September.
Konstrundan (Konst = Art | Rundan = Tour) will be organised for the 19th time this year. The event weekend brings together almost 430 artists, craftspeople, designers and artist residencies from across the country.
Tilajakamo has studios in Lapinlahti Hospital and Vuosaari district.
During the event, studios are open, you can meet artists, visit exhibitions and participate in workshops.
For sale, e.g. art, cards, gifts and refreshments.

Small lobby gallery Stogis' first summer exhibition invites the viewer to become part of perception, presence, and landscape. The artists in the exhibition each respond to the theme of nature in their own voice. A range of perspectives, all united by a shared sense that the boundary between the self and the external world is thinner than one might expect.
The opening of the exhibition takes place on June 5, at 17.00-20.00.

Paper Stars – Paper Dolls by Rauni Palonen, 1968–1982
Tamminiemi features a nostalgic glimpse into the world of celebrities and popular culture of President Kekkonen’s era.
The small-scale exhibition showcases paper dolls drawn by fashion artist and editor Rauni Palonen (b. 1929). Originally published in Apu magazine between 1968 and 1982, these drawings depicted the most celebrated stars of the era: beauty queens, singers, actors, television personalities, athletes, and even royalty from neighbouring countries.
Palonen would produce weekly sketches of celebrities, complete with outfits tailored to the latest fashion trends. For many, these paper stars were treasured toys. They were carefully cut out, glued to cardboard, accessorised with handmade outfits, and preserved with care.
Several of these paper stars were also a familiar sight at Kekkonen’s home in Tamminiemi or at the Independence Day reception at the Presidential Palace.
Paper Stars is a tribute to the long and distinguished career of fashion editor Rauni Palonen, whose paper dolls were known to the entire nation in her time. The collection donated by Palonen to the Finnish Heritage Agency’s Picture Collections contains a total of 207 paper stars. In this small-scale exhibition, approximately 80 figures are on display, featuring both digitised versions and original drawings.
