Help keep Route 6 Beautiful!
Join us for a community clean-up event to help keep National Cycle Route 6 clean and green, supporting Sustrans and making Leicester a better place for everyone!
Route: We'll be walking and litter picking along Cycle Route 6 towards Great Central Way.
If you have your own litter picker please bring it along. If you don't have a picker please let us know.
Let’s work together to support Sustrans and help keep Leicester’s cycle paths safe, clean, and welcoming.

We’ll be teaming up with Canal & River Trust to help keep the tow paths tidy and litter free. We will meet Rich from Canal and River Trust at Belgrave Lock.
A few tips-
There is plenty of on-street parking on Charles Bennion Walk and surrounding area.
All tools and safety equipment will be provided, please bring your own garden gloves if you wish to wear gloves.
No running required for this task, we meet at the task to give the task the time it needs. We do encourage people to walk, run or cycle if possible.
Expect some fresh air, good company and a chance to do something great for the community!

Join us over at the Acres side of the park (meet at the Coppinger Rd entrance, in the corner of Aylestone Recreation Park) for this week's outdoor adventure!
Every visit to Saffron Acres brings something new to get involved with, from watering tomatoes and light weeding, to digging and bramble busting. There’s always a variety of tasks, so no two sessions are ever the same!
If you’ve got an injury or need to take it easy, no problem just let us know and we’ll make sure there’s a lighter task you can help with. Everyone's welcome, and there's always a way to get stuck in.
Don’t forget to come prepared for the sunshine, please bring suncream, a hat, and plenty of water to stay cool and hydrated.
