After our practice session the inaugural Everton Hills Games are happening and they are asking Goodgym to help out. They are requesting as many Goodgymmers as possible to be part of this... to marshal and to take part.
The task will start at Everton community garden on Princes Edwin Street (What3Words: https://w3w.co/turkey.origin.usage) at 11.30 and this will be to help get things sorted and set up but the actual games will take place in the park between Heyworth street and the viewing platform ( What 3 Words: https://w3w.co/views.return.lame ) beginning at 1pm.
Currently we are awaiting the QR code and publicity to spread the word but please consider signing up ... there are roles for everyone.
For photos of the practice session please see this report https://www.goodgym.org/v3/reports/we-re-a-knockout.
This is a long session but just let us know in the comments how long you can stay for and what times you can commit to.

The Friends of Everton Park work hard throughout the year to keep this valued local park in tip top shape, and from Spring to Autumn they're a regular feature in the Goodgym Calendar as we help out in both the park and the Community Garden.
They've very kindly invited Goodgym to attend their Open Evening, a lovely chance to socialise and catch up as a thank you for our good work throughout the year. The Open Evening runs 5pm- 8/9pm, feel free to drop in for all or part of it and meet the Friends & other friends of the park!
There will be an auction for some of the produce from the communiy garden and some other treats so bring some pennies if you want to bid.

**The Task**
Smithdown in Bloom are working with local residents and businesses to place tubs and planters along Smithdown Road and the surrounding streets, to make the area greener, brighter and more attractive for all.
The task will be a mix of:topping up the planters we did before with more soil, and potentially repositioning the plants accordingly; watering if needed; and litter picking around the planters.
We will be meeting the task owners at the central reservation at the corner of Ullet Road and Smithdown and then heading off to different planters locally to add some colour. Those not wanting to join the group run can meet us directly there. https://w3w.co/closer.door.took
Bring your own gloves, and we'll want to bring a couple of our litter pickers too.
**The Run**
Runners will be meeting at the Suitcases on Hope Street for a 6:30pm warm up and a run to the task. https://w3w.co/normal.shirt.builds
If you are not running you can meet at the task location for 6:55pm ready for us all to start the task together.

We have regular longer run opportunities and advice from our qualified run leaders for those wanting more of a challenge, or a more gentle approa...
