The Maidenhead United Macmillan coffee morning is a fantastic annual event, not only raising funds for Macmillan, but also bringing together the community for lots of fitness and fun. The event is from 10am to 3pm with activities such as walking football, a running/walking session led by Maidenhead Athletic Club (MAC) and a cake sale. GoodGym have been invited to lead a litter pick from 11.00am-12.00pm, and we would love to see you there!
Diya will do a safety briefing and divide the group into teams at the MAC club house, and then we'll head off in search of litter. Litter picking equipment will be provided for those who don't have their own, but you may want to bring your own protective gloves.

The sunflower walk raises funds so that the Thames Hospice can continue to provide compassionate care to their patients and their families across East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire. Walkers can choose from a 2.5km route around Bray Lake, a 10km around Bray and Dorney Lakes, or a half marathon to Windsor and back.
The organisers are looking for help from 8am. They need marshals on all route - what a great opportunity to get fit and do good at the same time!
Alternatively, they also need help back at the Hospice in Bray with registration, serving refreshments, handing out medals etc.
Exact timing TBA nearer to the event - you may not be required to stay until 3pm, depending on where you are stationed
If you can help with any of these roles, as well as signing up here, please email Erin at e.knight@thameshospice.org.uk to let her know how and when you can help out

** Please do not sign up for this mission unless you are an experienced Baby Bank volunteer as they will be short-staffed and there will be no one available to train you**
The Baby Bank helps families in extreme need with everyday essentials such as nappies, wipes, school uniform and shoes, as well as larger items such as cots and buggies. They are completely volunteer-run and rely on donations of new items and good quality second hand clothes, baby care equipment and furniture. Demand for the Baby Bank's help is continuing to increase dramatically.
We can help by sorting through donations, preparing bundles ready for delivery and cleaning donated furniture.
**A few important notes:**
**- Please note the new location. Baby Bank can now be found at Unit 2A, Tectonic Place, Holyport Road, SL6 2YE **
**- The task is listed for an hour and a half, but there may be the opportunity to stay and help for longer.**
