I am Run Director at Fletcher Moss parkrun on **Saturday 29th August** and we need to get some GoodGym help for volunteers! If you have a another local parkrun that is looking for volunteers, please help out elsewhere too.
It is also Manchester Pride weekend with a parade in the city centre.
The roster and available roles can be viewed here: **[Roster](https://www.parkrun.org.uk/fletchermoss/futureroster/)**
The roles are straightforward and some roles can be done alongside the run itself, such as the pre-event setup and event day course check or 1st timers briefing.
If you want to volunteer, sign up here and please email: **fletchermoss@parkrun.com** with your parkrun barcode (registration is free via the [parkrun website](https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register/)) or you can contact me directly with your parkrun barcode and I can add you to the roster.

We'll be back to continue with other bits and jobs that need doing on the orchard. Mostly we'll be weeding and giving some plum trees in Philips Park a bit of care and pruning.
For those wanting a short run/light jog, we will do a loop or two of Philips Park before the task, meeting near the entrance close to COOP Live, [What3Words: ///relay.stale.strut](https://w3w.co/relay.stale.strut) for 17:40.
For those just coming for the session, we'll be meeting directly at the task inside Philips Park, [What3words: ///waving.zebra.radio](https://what3words.com/waving.zebra.radio) for 6pm.
Eden Gardens Orchard is a welcoming community garden in the heart of Philips Park. Open to visitors and volunteers, it offers a peaceful green space for relaxation, learning, and connection.
The orchard promotes wellbeing and community, inviting locals to engage with nature through hands on gardening and seasonal activities.
