What could volunteering in Portsmouth look like in 100 years?
We’ll meet at Victoria Park - outside The Greenhouse at 5.30pm for a 1 mile run or walk to Aspex Gallery in Gunwharf for a 6pm start.
Join GoodGym Portsmouth for a creative and interactive workshop exploring the future of volunteering and community action. Using photographs, storytelling and group discussion, we'll reflect on what makes volunteering meaningful today and imagine how community action could grow and thrive into the future.
Please bring along a photograph (printed or on your phone) that represents community, connection or volunteering to you. We'll use these images to spark conversations about what works well, what should be protected, and what new possibilities might exist for future generations.
This is a welcoming session open to existing GoodGym volunteers and anyone interested in community action, volunteering or local connection.

This is a lovely opportunity to show how volunteering can be great for wellbeing and to introduce more people in Portsmouth to GoodGym.
SALT Festival is Portsmouth’s annual Suicide Awareness Day, bringing people together to talk openly about suicide, wellbeing, hope and the support available. This year’s festival will also include the Wellbeing Revolution, creative workshops, exercise activities, guest speakers and opportunities to connect with local services and community groups.
GoodGym will have a promotional stall at the event, and we’d love some friendly GoodGymers to help us represent the group. Please sign up even if you can only pop by for an hour.
