About LocFeed
LocFeed is a local community feed for posts, questions, recommendations, groups, events, and nearby place discussions. It is designed around areas people care about, such as suburbs, streets, neighbourhoods, schools, clubs, shops, parks, and local meeting places.
What LocFeed Is For
- asking local questions
- sharing recommendations and useful local knowledge
- posting community notices, events, and updates
- creating and joining local groups
- following discussions around nearby places
How LocFeed Works
Create one or more locations of interest, including suburbs, addresses, or custom radius areas. LocFeed uses those areas to show nearby posts, events, groups, and place discussions.
You can browse the feed or map view, follow discussions, and receive notifications when new comments are added. Users can also message other locals directly and engage with their community in real time.
Location and Privacy
LocFeed does not continuously track your location. Users choose the areas they want to browse or save. When creating a post, users can select a location so the post appears in the relevant local feed.
Community Content
LocFeed content is community-generated. Users are responsible for what they post, and LocFeed provides reporting and moderation tools to help reduce abuse, spam, and unsafe content.
