A green leaf that grows on a dead branch, pieces of wood that come together to form strange creatures, some hostile, some comical…
A curious world that surprises, amazes, and inspires. A world that also makes you think and wonder.
In keeping with its artistic approach, the Canadian puppetry group Puzzle Théâtre is drawing inspiration from a whole new medium to create an atypical, colourful puppet show, full of humour and unexpected situations.

SAMPO Festival
International visual theatre and puppet theatre festival SAMPO is held already for the 10th time in Helsinki and the metropolitan area. This year, the programme includes performances and workshops for children and adults from Canada, France, Italy, Slovakia, and the Ukraine.
Highlights of the programme include the Transport series, whose three performances – from Estonia, Lithuania and Czechia – examine globalisation and sustainable development, as well as Golem – e fango è is mondo by Italian Teatro del Drago, awarded at the Venice Biennale.
SAMPO Festival brings many international artists and performances to Finland for the first time, gathering a wide selection from the multi-faceted canon of visual theatre and puppet theatre for the Finnish stages.
