The year 2026 will be that of Georges Rousse in Argentina. The Younique Gallery and ArtexArte of the Fundación Alfonso y Luz Castillo will carry out a large-scale retrospective. For the first time, the famous French photographer will exhibit in Buenos Aires. This project will make known to the Argentine public the photographic work of a major artist in photography and art history. As such, celebrating the Bicentenary of Photography, it will be an opportunity to highlight France, which is one of the most important foreign investors in the country.
The retrospective will take place on the 3 floors of the foundation, lasting 2 months from September to November, with 30 photographs alternating between large (210x150 cm) and medium format (140x110 cm), 5 wallpapers and an ephemeral installation created in situ in the foundation.
