Sun, 6 Sept 2026, 7:00โ€“10:00

Demelza Children's Hospice is bringing a splash of colour to Avery Hill Park with its fantastic Rainbow Run, a fun-filled fundraising event for families, and they need our help to make it a success!

They are looking for volunteers to support the event across the day. Whether you can spare a few hours or stay for longer, your help will make a real difference to this vibrant community event raising vital funds for Demelza's incredible work.

There are two volunteer shifts to choose from:

**Pre-event setup (7.00amโ€“10.00am)**

Help bring the Rainbow Run to life before the first runners arrive by:

Setting up the colourful paint stations

Putting up gazebos and tables in the event village

Marking out the run route

**During the event (9.00amโ€“1.00pm)**

Be part of the action and help create an unforgettable experience by:

Staffing the colour stations, showering runners with brightly coloured powder and cheering them on

Helping at the fundraising stalls

Supporting visitors at the information tent

*Bringing plenty of enthusiasm and helping to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for everyone
