Take a stroll in the Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha and discover plants that have special significance in the lives of people from around the world. Many plants, mostly trees, have stories pointing to their role as receptacles for 'spirits', or in mythology, local folklore and religion. Learn which of their attributes may have met the 'selection criteria' for their special role in the lives of different communities and religions.Requirements: Please wear a hat, enclosed walking shoes, and be sure to bring a water bottle and sunscreen.Meeting point: Meet at the Visitor Information Centre.
