Getting back into reading? Want to try new genres? Join the Chinatown Branch for our Literary Lounge Book Club! Each month we will explore a new genre and discuss not only the book, but also elements of the genre. This month's theme will be: Translated Fiction. Anxious People written by " #1 New York Times bestselling author of A Man Called Ove comes a charming, poignant novel about a crime that never took place, a would-be bank robber who disappears into thin air, and eight extremely anxious strangers who find they have more in common than they ever imagined." Pick up a copy of the book at the Circulation Desk. In celebration of Summer at CPL and of our local parks, this book discussion will be held at Ping Tom Park . Please meet either at the Ping Tom Park pagoda or at the Chinatown Branch Library where together we will walk over to the park. Space is limited. Registration is required. For adults 18 and up.
