Laulavat tiedekysymykset – Singing Science Questions

Dates:

Tue, 15 Sept 2026, 18:00

Laulavat tiedekysymykset is a concert for the whole family, based on children’s science questions published in Helsingin Sanomat.

Why doesn’t Grandma hibernate? Do trees really talk to each other? Can a wasp fly to Brazil?

The concert is hosted by Mari Rantasila , who invites children to think about tricky questions. The musical world ranges from sing-along tunes to ska rhythms, keeping the audience dancing and, at times, lulling them into a state of calm, accompanied by a five-piece band. The performance invites the audience to join in reflecting on questions, as well as dancing and singing.

The album Laulavat tiedekysymykset 2 was released in February 2026. The first Laulavat tiedekysymykset album was released in 2021. It was nominated for Album of the Year in the children’s music category at the Emma Awards, and the album’s songwriter, Suvi Isotalo , won the Newcomer of the Year award at the Jellona Awards. The concert is suitable for the whole family and all ages.
