A new women’s singing group is starting up at Malmitalo. We are looking forward to having you sing with us!
This group is aimed particularly at women with an immigrant background, but women singers whose native language is Finnish are also welcome to join in. You can bring songs from your own culture and learn songs from different countries.
The group is taught by music teacher Mirva Soininen. She also conducts the Sawa Sawa world music choir at Opistotalo.
The choir is free to join but requires registration. href="https://ilmonet.fi/course/H264371?lang=en">You can register via this link , or at the Adult Education Centre’s customer service desk (Malmitalo, 1st floor). You can also come along for the first session, whereby the teacher can help you with the registration process.
The group meets every other Monday in the large classroom (corridor of the Adult Education Centre, 1st floor):
