Bexley parkrun is a free, weekly, timed 5k event every Saturday morning in Danson Park. It's run completely by volunteers and you'll be made to feel most welcome at this lovely friendly event.
There are plenty of volunteering roles to choose from including marshals, barcode scanners, finish token giver-outers and tail walkers. You'll get a parkrun volunteer credit AND a GoodGym good deed after you've attended!
If you don't want to miss out on the actual run or walk, there are some roles you can do before or after.

Meet at 8.30am on the south side of the lake in Danson Park, What3Words location: ///cling.perky.empire. Your contact is the Run Director, wearing a blue and white hi-vis jacket.

It looks a bit complicated at first but please don't be put off, it's not tricky 😊.
1. If you don't already have a parkrun ID register for free at https://www.parkrun.org.uk/register.
2. Check which volunteering roles still need filling here: https://www.parkrun.org.uk/bexley/futureroster/. Click on the role you're interested in to find out what's involved. Even if the roster is full the organisers are often happy to have extra helpers so get in touch with them anyway.
