## GoodGym Edinburgh is launching!
To kick off our very first GoodGym Edinburgh we will be getting our hands dirty with a gardening task at Leith Links Community Croft.
Our meetup point is Edinburgh Street Food where there will be a secure bag drop and a 15% discount on food and drink available after we get back.
From there we will be running at an inclusive pace down to Leith Links Community Croft for this week's task and running back afterwards (about 2.5km each way)
The community croft is a fantastic project and a real hub for community volunteering and community impact in Leith. We will be helping out with various gardening tasks needing done around the croft and market garden. At the same time we will get to learn about gardening, food growing and the concept of an urban community croft.
This project aims to bring together disparate and isolated members of the Leith community (technically all co-owners of the site) as a harmonious and co-operative family, working together to share their experience and skills, to address each other’s needs, and to raise children in a healthy and responsible way, in touch with nature and the land.
