On the Espa Stage, we move between two landscapes: from Spain’s expressive lyricism to Brazil’s pulsing life.
In Tárrega’s world, a small melody can be both a whisper and the sway of a dance — a fleeting spark that keeps resonating in the mind. Villa-Lobos, in turn, brings together the city’s throbbing alleyways and a quiet inner song: the chôro’s immediate rhythmic vitality and the preludes’ drama and wit set spontaneity and form side by side.
