The Alliance Française of Beijing organizes in September 2026 an artistic residency with Lorraine Thiria, French photographer and painter. Lorraine Thiria’s artistic approach is centered on the exploration of matter or materials (murals, plants, minerals,...), in an essentially abstract form, with a reflection on memory and time. This residency will lead to the production of a new exhibition, presented in the Franco-Chinese friendship exhibition room of the Alliance Française de Pékin, located on the campus of the Beijing University of Languages and Cultures.
