Summer at Leikki – the Museum of Play is full of fun! From June 29 to August 11, the museum is open daily from 10.00 to 17.00, with activities every day. On Fridays, the program explores the world of toys. Activities are included in the admission ticket unless otherwise stated.
Toy Friday program:
11:00–13:30 Robot Rally Craft Workshop
Build your own robot friend from recycled materials.
13:00–13:30 Lohtu Teddy Bear Meet & Greet
13:30–15:00 Toy Jewelry Workshop
Create jewelry or key chains using fun toy parts. Workshop fee €2/item.
15:00–15:30 Journey into Play Guided Tour (in Finnish)
Explore toys, games, childhood, and playful phenomena in the museum’s main exhibition.
All-day ongoing activities:
Winnie the Pooh Hunt
Find the Winnie the Pooh characters hidden around the museum exhibition.
LEGO Building Workshop
LEGO fans of all ages can enjoy the joy of building in the LEGO workshop.
Toy Lending Station
Out and about for playtime! During the summer holiday program, you can borrow various outdoor games, toys, and other fun activities from the Toy Lending Station during the museum’s opening hours for use in the courtyard.
