Folk singer and multi-instrumentalist Geneviève Andræssen (aka Juniper & The Wolf ) weaves a delicate blend of traditional storytelling, original music, poetry and folk ballads, collected over nearly a decade of travel across Europe and North America. With performances known equally for spellbound silences as raucously singing crowds, Juniper & The Wolf will leave you quietly transformed—ready to run into the wilds, forge a new world empire, or delve headlong into the lesser-known histories of myth, music, folklore, and magic.
In this performance, Geneviève will be sharing a set of traditional ballads (long-form story-songs), folk dance tunes, and storytelling accompanied by the ethereal sounds of the Swedish nyckelharpa.
