The Middle East Jam Festival returns to Stoa square on the Night of the Arts!
ME Jam is a collaborative and international celebration of music, dance and culture, showcasing the diverse arts of the Middle Eastern and North African regions. The event combines live performances, workshops and food culture into a vibrant event open to all.
The event features programming also suitable for children. Come join us and enjoy the atmosphere!

Niitty soi! – Meadow beats! – percussion workshop
Using recycled and natural materials, we build peculiar bugs that you can play as an instrument. Find your own sound as part of this musical swarm. Instructed by art educator Jenni Vilander.
Communal Plant Rug
We craft our own striped rug using plants. Row by row, the plants are woven into a tapestry that tells the story of the summer's growth and its diversity. The slowly created piece reminds us of the abundance of nature, the cycle of seasons and the joy of creating things together. Instructed by design...
