At Ellin elokuvahetki ('Elli’s movie moment'), we watch short dance films and discuss our impressions.
The programme consists of dance films produced by the Myrskyryhmä dance group in collaboration with seniors. Community artist and dance educator Elli Isokoski presents the films and leads the discussion.

Käy rinnallain (‘Stay by Me’), is a story of a friendship lasting a lifetime, the frenzy of living, and loneliness. The story of this dance film takes the viewer through the different stages of life: childhood, youth, the years of raising a family and old age. What binds them together is a mirror game.
Kurkien kutsu (2022)

People walking through the woods hear the call of cranes and, drawn by it, gather in a field.
Kurkien kutsu (‘The Call of the Cranes’) was produced in collaboration with Muistijengi, the memory association of Kanta-Häme. The starting point for the project was Muistijengi’s interest in creating a sequel to the dance film Kurki, which they had seen during a Myrskyryhmä film screening.
Oodi iälle (2025)

Oodi iälle (‘Ode to Age’) is a dance film about elderly women who have had enough of the colourlessness of life. Together, they shed their everyday clothes and throw themselves, carefree and unrestrained, into the Finnish summer.
