Through photographs by the artist Virginie Rebetez, a podcast and texts produced by researchers from the HETSL in collaboration with a production team, this exhibition offers visitors a visual and auditory immersion, inviting them to engage in collective discussion and reflection on the themes of death, funeral practices, memory and mourning.
Tailored to the setting of the Geneva Botanic Garden, this exhibition raises new questions about the relationship between humans—and other living species—and death and mourning.
A programme of events invites the public to explore funeral customs, cemeteries, death and bereavement, also from the perspective of biodiversity and sustainability.
