Participants can visit the species stations held over a two-hour period. The species stations suitable for beginners offer the opportunity to try around 12 sports. Sport trials are available for both adults and children. The city's activity instructors are also on hand to help participants find a suitable hobby. Language support is also available from International House Jyväskylä at the event. Participants are advised to wear athletic clothing and shoes for the free and open-to-all HarrastusHulinat event.
