Join Mieko Kawakami in conversation with Yukiko Duke at International Writers' Stage September 29. Mieko Kawakami is one of Japan’s most prominent contemporary authors and achieved her major breakthrough with "Breasts and Eggs". This fall, she will be a guest on the writers’ stage for a conversation about “Heaven,” a finalist for the 2022 International Booker Prize—an existential novel about alienation, friendship, and survival.
