Every first Wednesday of the month, children under 12 are invited to take over the theatre’s public spaces for an afternoon of discovery and creativity. Fun, free workshops – with no registration required – are on offer to help children explore different artistic disciplines.
On these Wednesdays, the Comédie’s bar opens at 2 pm: adults can relax over a coffee whilst children enjoy a special afternoon tea offer.

The Comédie is organising this first ‘Mercredi Comédie’ in partnership with the S5 Association, which is committed to promoting French Sign Language and celebrating Deaf culture.
On the programme for 2 September :
**Bilingual storytelling in French and French Sign Language (LSF)**
Come and enjoy a fun and interactive session! During this activity, a hearing storyteller will tell a story in French, whilst an interpreter translates it simultaneously into French Sign Language (LSF). The stories are improvised and developed as the session progresses, based on the atmosphere, the audience’s preferences and their reactions.
An invitation to discover sign language, to let your imagination run wild and to communicate together.
**AGE** from 3 years old. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
**TIMES** 2 pm / 3 pm / 4 pm
**DURATION** 30 to 45 minutes
