Autumn arrives, and all kinds of mushrooms start growing in the forest, but what dares to pick them in the basket, let alone eat them? And how should mushrooms be handled to make them edible?
If you have ever wondered about these questions, head to the mushroom evening at the Laukaa main library.
You will get tips on identifying mushrooms, finding new edible mushroom species, and processing mushrooms for food. And what has changed over the years? Is a former mushroom favorite now something to be avoided?
You can also bring your own mushroom samples. We will identify them together.
The evening will be led by biologist-forager inspector Minna Puntala.
The event is open to everyone and free of charge.
Welcome!
