Elina Pitkäkangas is a writer from Nokia, whose books seamlessly combine fantasy elements, social criticism, and moral contemplation. She is a committed advocate for young adult literature and actively creates book-related content on TikTok and Instagram. Elina's repertoire includes the urban fantasy series Kuura, the Asian-influenced Sang fantasy duology, and the upcoming epic and romantic sea fantasy Merentakainen, to be published in spring 2027. Come and listen to what Elina has to say about her own books, book aesthetics, and writing.
The author will appear on the Stage on the 1st floor of the main library. Admission is free and the venue is accessible. Welcome!
