Volunteering at parkrun requires registering for a barcode beforehand, and important step not usually seen at a typical GoodGym mission, but essential for these ones.
Sadly, no dogs are permitted at a Junior parkrun event - either for volunteers or participants.

A free, fun, and friendly weekly 2k event for juniors (4 to 14 year olds).
First, and most importantly, we never ask anybody to do anything they're not comfortable with. If you don't want a particular task, please let us know and we will happily give you an alternative job. Nevertheless, none of our tasks are too stressful. You could be organising the finish funnel, operating the timer, or scanning barcodes using the simple Virtual Volunteer app. If you really want to do something in particular, please let us know and we'll see what we can do.
Reminder - Register for a parkrun barcode, and unfortunately no dogs are allowed on the course, either for runners or volunteers.
