Stop by Manning and read to Izzy, a certified therapy dog! Dogs don't mind if you make any mistakes; they just love spending time with you. Reading to a dog can help build a reader's confidence and encourage reluctant readers. For kids 3 to 13. Canine Therapy Corps is a Chicago-based network of volunteers and certified therapy dogs assisting those with physical and emotional challenges and people experiencing stress or anxiety. How to Attend Advanced registration is required. Call the branch or stop by in person to register for a time slot.
