The concerts in the series feature gentle and soul-nourishing music, regardless of genre or style. The café serves visitors in the lobby before the event and during the intermission.
The event requires a ticket that is available free of charge. Tickets will become available on Monday 17 August via this link , and at the service desk of Maunula Library. A small number of tickets are also set aside to be available at the door on the day of the event, and you can enquire about them at the venue half an hour before the event starts

Tuomo & Markus
Tuomo & Markus is an indie folk band founded by Tuomo Prättälä and Markus Nordenstreng, two veteran musicians from Helsinki. In their music, this dynamic duo ventures into a realm where the boundaries between indie folk, jazz, prog, soul, power pop and Anglo-American roots music blur, creating a unique sound all of their own.
The year 2023 proved to be a turning point for Tuomo and Markus in many ways. In the wake of the success of the album Game Changing , Tuomo & Markus performed in Finland at events such as Flow Festival and Pori Jazz. The band also had several tours in the United States, performing at events such as the Rochester International Jazz Festival, the Solid Sound Festival and SXSW.
