This time, Maa ilmasta and Featherfoot are taking to the stage! The café is open in the lobby before the shows and during the intermission.
The event requires a ticket that is available free of charge. Tickets will become available on Monday 17 August via this link , and at the service desk of Maunula Library. A small number of tickets are also set aside to be available at the door on the day of the event, and you can enquire about them at the venue half an hour before the event starts

Maa ilmasta
Maa ilmasta plays “Finnish-language instrumental rock”. The band, led by Benjami Koskinen, has released two critically acclaimed albums: ISO YÖ (2021, Luova Records) and Kaunis kesäkaupunki (2023, Luova Records). The band is preparing to release its third album.
The recommended way to enjoy Maa ilmasta albums is with one’s eyes closed and when lying down. The band’s aim is to create music that is as visual as possible. Art that is both ambitious and of the highest standard. Grand emotions, but with a twinkle in the eye.

Featherfoot
Featherfoot draws inspiration for its music from rock bands of the 1960s and 1970s, as well as from progressive rock. The delicate and atmospheric sound of this five-piece band also draws on elements of folk and world music, amongst other genres.
Formed in 2011, the band has been slowly and steadily developing its sound, and its debut album was released in October 2025. The themes of the album’s tracks explore the modern world and its trajectory towards inevitable man-made destruction, while at the same time...
