There's something untamed about a daine show, combustible in the way only truly vulnerable artists can be. Now the Melbourne-forged shapeshifter, championed by The New York Times, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone and triple j, enters a new chapter, returning home for a headline run on the back of their national tour supporting Ninajirachi and fresh from Pitchfork London and Pitchfork Paris. Their long-awaited debut album In Endless Awe & Agony (out November 6 via Pack. Records) sheds the heavy digital processing for something more exposed and human: tender, awkward, guitar-driven songs that romanticise sensitivity rather than hide from it. Live, expect both, the rupture and catharsis that built the cult, and the raw new material that asks fans to step into the next era alongside them. Less a performance than a collective release.
