Tidy up this spring with Council's free green waste drop-off weekends!Make the most of our free green waste recycling event to ensure you correctly dispose of your household garden waste.The 2026 free green waste drop-off weekends will be held on: Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 October.The resource recovery centres are open from 6.30am to 5.45pm every day, located at: 728 Tilley Road, Chandler 101 Upper Kedron Road, Ferny Grove 1372 Nudgee Road, Nudgee Beach 360 Sherbrooke Road, Willawong.Acceptable green waste includes: branches grass clippings loose bark palm fronds pruning from shrubs, trees and weeds.Outside of these dates, residents can use their waste vouchers or their green waste recycling bin to dispose of garden waste.
