Marshaling for Junior Park Run

•Sun, 6 Sept 2026, 8:40–9:20

Supporting the Junior Park Run by marshaling the course.

Meet by the cafe at Old Heath Rec by 8:40 to get high vis and to be allocated positions and then after a quick warm up the 4-14 year olds will set off on their 2 km run around the park at 9 am.

It's always a really satisfying task as the juniors are so appreciative of any encouragement we give them.

With just a short run it's often done by 9:20, so plenty of time for a drink in the new cafe.
