The City of Chicago and State of Illinois recently proclaimed August as Ukrainian Independence Month, honoring Ukrainian heritage in our city. In celebration of this announcement, Lidiia and Iryna invite you to a pysanka workshop. Pysanka is the Ukrainian tradition and art of decorating eggs. Participants will learn about the different types of pysanka and the Ukrainian symbols used, and make one to take home.
