**This week we are heading just up the hill to WindRush Square from our base to help out our friends at Lambeth Council.**
The task: Deep litter pick / soap n suds.
Unfortunately with the heavy usage this park gets, and its location in central Brixton, it only takes a small percentage of people to not take their rubbish home and it rapidly gets very messy.
This is capped with the litter of bottle tops, ciggie butts and small debris around the seating areas which are best dealt with using a dustpan and brush.
Some good volunteers for half an hour would make a significant dent in this. The team would be very grateful, and promise they can make it fun!
Bring gloves if you have them!
