Two emerging directors, Flavie Tapparel and Tibor Ockenfels, revisit two of Anton Chekhov's comic masterpieces, _The Marriage Proposal_ and _The Bear_. Beneath their romantic appearance, these plays reveal quarrelsome, self-centred characters full of contradictions.
Through comic situations and lively dialogue, they explore love and human relationships while remaining strikingly relevant today. Despite the conflicts and misunderstandings, hope remains that love will ultimately prevail.
