This year, Swiss Food Academy is setting up shop at Festi’terroir, the Geneva event that celebrates those who are shaping a more local and sustainable food system.
It’s a day to learn about our organization, discuss what drives us—mindful eating and local agriculture—and explore our upcoming projects together.
For curious kids, here are 3 workshops you won’t want to miss:
Get your hands dirty with Jenny — Touch, dig, plant: a sensory introduction to the world of farming as you grow an fall vegetable at home: take home a potted pink radish seedling 🌱.
Make your own high-fiber granola with Christelle — Mix, measure, taste: take home your own creation 🥣 (and the recipe!).
Discover where your food comes from with Thomas — A fun, interactive session to understand the journey of food, from the field to the plate. Treat yourself to some Geneva specialties 😋 during the workshop 🍅🍒.
Registration required; limited spaces available
Age: 6 to 12 years old
Workshop fee: 10.- per child, including tasting
Workshop times: 10:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. or 3:15 p.m.
