**Twenty Years of Theatre in Public Spaces.**
Zanco's anniversary show is a stroll through the present and through memory. Papier-mâché ghosts, Alice's voices, Borges's labyrinths, bears, and monsters still dance in the streets and parks.
It's not a retrospective, but a journey.
Created especially for this anniversary, the 20th Anniversary Show offers a theatrical promenade in the Parc des Franchises on Friday and in Châtelaine on Saturday, the company's home base. The performance revisits five of the company's major works — _Murmure la rumeur_ (_Whisper the Rumor_), _À travers le miroir_ (_Through the Mirror_), _Borges Variations_, _Wild Things_, and _Miedka_ — updating their characters to place them in the current context of democratic crisis, manipulation of fears, and social fragmentation. The common thread is language as a tool of power and resistance, of shifting perspectives and dreams. The audience is invited to walk, transforming the stroll into an act of presence and reflection.
Conceived as an immersive journey, the performance invites the audience to walk from one scene to the next. Each stage reactivates an artistic memory while reinterpreting it in light of the contemporary world.
