Reunion Island, cradled by the waves of the Indian Ocean, is rich in fascinating maritime stories. Ancrages entre Terre & Mer" invites you to a visual immersion in the heart of our maritime heritage, through an exploration of marine anchors that mark out our past, both on land and at sea.
This photographic exhibition unfolds through the public space and in hidden places, inviting you to rediscover these maritime symbols in emblematic frames of the island. Each photograph, whether it represents an anchor exposed in the open or buried in the depths of the sea, tells a unique story, a silent vestige of past epics.
