**What does it mean to stay connected when connectivity is fragile, interrupted, or unevenly distributed?** The _Urgency of Connectivity_ presents the winning photographs of the Giga Photo Award 2026. Giga is a joint initiative of UNICEF and the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) that aims to connect every school to the Internet. Together, the selected works trace stories of connection under pressure. They show how people and communities maintain vital links in contexts shaped by crisis, displacement, or isolation. From youth-led digital movements unfolding across Kenya to improvised rooftop newsrooms in Sudan, from remote classrooms sustained online in Ukraine to prison cells in Argentina where phones maintain family bonds, connectivity emerges as a pressure point. Presented outdoors at Promenade Saint-Antoine, this free exhibition invites visitors to discover connectivity as both infrastructure and lifeline, and to reflect on a simple question: who can connect, when, and at what cost?

Cost: CHF 0.-
