September Menu: Mediterranean Diet This is a flexible, plant-forward eating pattern modeled after the traditional food cultures of countries bordering the Mediterranean Sea, such as Greece, Italy, and Spain. Rather than following strict calorie limits or restrictive formulas, it emphasizes minimally processed whole foods, healthy unsaturated fats, and fiber-rich plants. We are looking at three different books: Mediterranean Diet: 70 Easy, Healthy Recipes The Mediterranean Diet Cookbook for Beginners: Meal Plans, Expert Guidance, &100 Recipes to Get You Started The Sustainable Mediterranean Diet Cookbook: 110 Easy, Healthy Recipes to Reduce Food Waste, Eat in Season, and Help the Earth Can’t get a copy? Get a recipe from another book, online, or anywhere and share the delicious creation with the group along with your journey.
