Helping spruce up the play garden at Holy Redeemer Pre-School

Dates:

Wed, 2 Sept 2026, 18:30–20:20

Welcome to GoodGym Bexley!

We're a friendly and sociable group who combine exercise with helping out in the local community. We meet every Wednesday evening to get active and do a physical task to help the community organisations and charities in our area.

There's an optional group run to get there and back, or you can make your own way. The run is at a pace to suit everyone and we never leave anyone behind.

**The task**

This will be our second visit to the pre-school. Last time we painted the large wooden play house and some child-sized benches.

This time we'll be focusing on getting everything in the garden ship-shape ready for the children who will be back at school the very next day!

Please bring gardening gloves🧤. All other equipment will be provided.

📍**Where and when**

The task is at Holy Redeemer Pre-School, in the Community Centre within the grounds of Holy Redeemer Church at 64 Days Lane, Sidcup DA15 8JR. What3Words location: ///chefs.garden.pools.

Laura, the Pre-School Manager, will meet us front of the church at 7pm, and take us into the pre-school's garden.

⛔Please don't go into the Community Centre itself because it will be in use by another group ⛔.

**Getting there**

If you are making your own way please wait in the grounds outside the church just before 7pm. Let us know via the comments below so you are going there directly.

For the group run meet outside the entrance of Sidcup Leisure Centre, Hurst Road, DA15 9AE at 6.30pm. After a short warm-up we'll have a chatty 2km run to the task...
