**About**
The **South Ealing Community Food Cupboard** (SECFC) is a community project set up to reduce waste and carbon emissions. The SEC Food Cupboard will offer good quality surplus food items to anyone who would like to come and collect them for their personal use.
Every Monday, SECFC receives surplus food from supermarkets (e.g. via Felix Project), market traders etc., and is regularly visited by over 100 people each week. It is run by local volunteers, often elderly, who would greatly benefit from some practical assistance in manual handling tasks. Help with unloading vans would be much appreciated.
### **Please note that SECFC relies on deliveries made by third parties, so the timings cannot always be guaranteed because of the traffic. Sign up if you are prepared to wait at the task for the vans to arrive.**
