The exhibition celebrates the over one hundred year old felt work heritage of the Lahtinen family, which has grown from felt boots to a diverse range of felt products. Over the decades, the company has survived wars, pandemics and changes in consumer behavior, and continued to move forward successfully.
Lahtinen is a family business that proudly carries the Made in Finland mark and serves both domestic and international customers. The exhibition tells the story of Lahtinen from its founding year of 1921, focusing on the unique material - felt. It highlights the work and ingenuity of four generations and presents the processes of felt making and craftsmanship.
Free admission to the opening.
