Janina Rajakangas and her team have created a performance for elementary school students and adults, which provides an opportunity to explore floods, heavy rains, and red sunsets through an art piece. The performers play drums, dance, and sing.
Children are being recruited to perform alongside professionals. In an open workshop, participants will be introduced to the creation of a contemporary dance piece through dancing, acting, and singing.
The work has been choreographed and imagined through the combined efforts of professional artists and children. The piece has been presented at the Dance House in Helsinki and the Vaasa City Theatre. In November 2026, this unique work will be realized in Jyväskylä.
